One more day! Less than that…! Tomorrow, along with the Full Moon, Venus turns Direct, bringing to conclusion the Retrogrades of all of the personal planets one by one since last November. Mind you, we are still in the “shadow period” of each of the planets; however, a moment to celebrate, nonetheless. Whew!
Retrograde is the appearance of a planet moving backwards. This is an illusion. Of the road race around the Sun, all of the planets are moving counter clockwise. The closer a planet is to the Sun, the faster it moves. With Retrograde motion, the inner planets, Mercury and Venus are moving faster and we on Earth are falling behind. With Mars and beyond, it is the opposite, the Earth is pulling ahead around its orbit faster. Our perspective being stationary as we are On the Earth, we experience the other as falling behind. This gives the definition and outcome the same sort of non-direction-ness. Am I going back to the past? Am I going back to where I once was? Am I going back to yesterday? Do I have to go back as I forgot my phone and need to put in a code? What kind of “Going Back” have you experienced.
Needless to say, life has been a bit confusing, with one day believing one thing the next day with more (going) BACK ground information allowing a different direction, then again, again and again! Wow, I’m tired already, can this just stop now? YES, it can! Well, tomorrow anyway.
Venus can now move towards choice and resolve and excitement and comfort and acceptance. Whew!
However, we are still a bit in the mish-mash of it all with the closing shadows. What began last October will conclude in May. Therefore, expect the timing to continue to be peculiar.
Mercury Shadow: Open [2Mar – 14Mar] Closing: [7April-26April]
Venus Shadow: Open [28Jan – 1Mar] Closing: [13April – 14May]
Mars Shadow: Open [5Oct24 – 6Dec24] Closing: [24Feb – 2May]
Do what you can with what you’ve got going on. Don’t panic. If you do panic, hold still, breathe, find your calm, breathe again, center. There you go, easy peasy!
